A DIRECT ANSWER

What does PicoTech
help you build?

We work on the software behind organizational workflows: internal tools, business platforms, web experiences, mobile applications, integrations, and evaluated AI capabilities. Our product portfolio addresses community administration, committee management, business operations, and logistics.

A product conversation and a custom development project have different starting points. We first understand your workflow, then review whether an available platform, an integration, or a new build is relevant. Product stages are made explicit on each detail page.

BEFORE YOU SELECT A SOFTWARE COMPANY

Ask about the work
behind the proposal.

SCOPE

What does the first release include?

Ask for the essential workflows, dependencies, exclusions, and acceptance criteria. Keep future possibilities separate from the committed release.

OPERATIONS

Who looks after the platform?

Discuss hosting, deployment, data access, maintenance, backups, support responsibilities, and the process for future changes.

COLLABORATION

How will decisions be made?

Clarify the project contact, who approves requirements, how feedback is reviewed, and what information is needed before a delivery estimate.

QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Clear answers.
Better decisions.

What does PicoTech do?

PicoTech is a software company based in Kerala, India. We develop software products and deliver custom software engineering, web platforms, mobile applications, AI integration, technology consulting, and team enablement. Our portfolio includes MahallIQ, Orvanta, PicoMart, and PicoRoute, each with its own focus and development stage.

What is the difference between MahallIQ and Orvanta?

MahallIQ focuses on Mahallu community administration, including household and member records, collections, receipts, and financial workflows. Orvanta is a committee-management multi-tenant SaaS application. Share your organization’s requirements so we can explain the current scope and which product is the better starting point.

What does PicoMart currently support?

PicoMart is an early development preview for Indian micro and small business operations. Its current core includes catalog, inventory, purchasing, supplier, and operational accounting workflows. It is not a complete POS or online storefront. Sales, storefront, gateway payment, delivery, and AI capabilities remain in the backlog.

Can you develop custom software around our existing systems?

Yes. Custom software and integration are part of our engineering services. We first review your business workflow, current systems, available APIs, data, and constraints. That discovery informs the architecture, delivery scope, and integration approach.

How can AI help our business?

AI is most useful when it addresses a specific workflow and can be evaluated. Examples include recommendations, document-assisted workflows, and operational decision support. We begin with the use case, data quality, human review requirements, and a measurable evaluation plan before recommending a build.

How do we choose between a PicoTech product and a custom build?

Begin with the work you need to improve. A product demonstration helps establish whether an existing platform covers your requirements. A custom build is worth considering when the workflow, integrations, or user experience need a different approach. Discovery should make that tradeoff explicit.

Where is PicoTech based, and can we work remotely?

PicoTech is based in Kerala, India, and works with businesses internationally. Project discussions can be handled remotely. Customer communication is available in English, Arabic, Malayalam, and Hindi; individual product-language coverage should be confirmed separately.

What should we prepare before contacting PicoTech?

A short description of your workflow, intended users, existing tools, desired outcome, and any timeline or budget constraints is enough to start. Use the enquiry form to request a product discussion or describe a custom project. You can also contact the team directly by email, phone, or WhatsApp.

How much does custom software development cost?

Cost depends on the workflows, user roles, integrations, data migration, design, testing, and support required. PicoTech does not publish a one-size-fits-all price. Share your priorities and constraints so we can define a scope and discuss an estimate. Comparing an initial build price alone can miss ongoing hosting, maintenance, and administration.

How long will a software project take?

A useful delivery estimate needs a clear first-release scope, integration requirements, available data, decision owners, and acceptance criteria. We discuss those dependencies before proposing a timeline. A smaller first release can help validate a workflow before committing to a wider platform.

Can we start a conversation on WhatsApp?

Yes. Choose any WhatsApp button to open a prepared enquiry. Product pages include the product name so the team has context. You can edit the message before sending it. The project brief builder also helps summarize a requirement without creating an account.

What should we ask during a software product demonstration?

Bring a representative task and ask to see it from start to finish. Confirm the available modules, user access, organization boundaries, data imports and exports, integrations, onboarding, support, and commercial terms. Keep available features separate from development previews and future plans.
